Embracing Mystery
For hundreds of thousands of years humans respected and embraced the darkness.
Women were viewed as portals and the keepers of the darkness and The Great Mystery.
Women were strong seers, medicine people, healers and so on.
A woman's natural cyclical nature was clear reflection of Mother Earth and grandmother moon.
Women didn't need to learn about the moon because they were in direct communication with her every moment of everyday.
About 2,000 years ago is when a massive shift started to take place. Fear began to be instilled the collective consciousness. It became unacceptable, and downright dangerous, to use herbs for healing, share midwifery gifts, honor the cycles and mystery. We were taught to fear our power and intuitive cyclical nature, and to cast shame on anyone embracing The Feminine Mysteries.
I believe we are at another pivotal time in history.
A time when the tides are turning toward the ancient ways.
